Sayulita Life

The work was made with Sayulita Life, and with three places to stay in the town — Distrito 88, Casa Selva and La Joya. Each was photographed and filmed as somewhere to arrive at rather than as a set of rooms: the properties themselves, and the ordinary life around them.

The objective ran past the properties themselves. Days out went with it — surfing, and boating to the breaks beyond the bay — so the adventure a guest can actually book is shown being used rather than described, alongside La Joya’s day pass to the property and its pool. What that produces is a library of a town as much as of three addresses: usable across listings and channels, and added to rather than delivered once.
